I’m Tom Hornstein, the creator behind evolutionaryTom. I’m a former CEO, Marine Corps veteran, FAA-certified drone pilot, husband, grandfather, and full-time Marco Island resident.

After retiring from business leadership, I didn’t want to slow down. I wanted to stay curious, active, useful, and connected. That led me to start sharing videos about the things I actually do: exploring Marco Island, riding e-bikes and scooters, flying drones, following local projects, testing useful gear, traveling, and figuring out what a full and active retirement can really look like.

This site and channel are not about pretending to be an influencer. They are about real experiences, practical observations, local awareness, and staying connected to a community I care about.
